The challenge
An early invoicing prototype needed to become an application businesses could use to issue invoices and accept online payments.
Our contribution
We led full-stack development from prototype to launch, rebuilding the API and replacing the initial interface with a responsive web application. We added account authentication, subscriptions and an open banking integration for bank-to-bank payments, and mentored developers alongside hands-on delivery.
We developed configurable supplier onboarding workflows, surveys and AI invoice reading.

The challenge
Fixed forms and repeated data entry made it difficult to support different supplier onboarding processes.
Our contribution
We developed a survey management system and configurable onboarding journeys on an event-driven platform. The server-driven interface let enterprise clients adapt surveys and procurement workflows without a separate interface build. We integrated AI invoice reading to capture supplier information for review, and led work with penetration testers to implement security improvements.

The challenge
A business finance platform needed its accounting connections to support multiple financial products, with accurate transaction synchronisation and reconciliation.
Our founder’s contribution
Our founder expanded the platform’s Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and FreeAgent integrations while working within its engineering team. The integrations supported credit and savings accounts across the UK and US, keeping transactions synchronised for reconciliation and visibility across multiple products.
A legacy customer-data application moved to event-driven cloud services handling around 200,000 events per day.

The challenge
A legacy .NET monolith processed customer data in real time and needed to become easier to scale, maintain and audit.
Our founder’s contribution
Working with an international engineering team, our founder led the move from a legacy monolith to event-driven microservices on Azure, processing around 200,000 events a day. The project also involved rebuilding legacy MVC applications in React.
We built a live rail platform for the web, iOS and Android, connecting travellers to current service information.

The challenge
Travellers needed clear, current journey information on the move, including during service delays or connection problems.
Our contribution
We built web and mobile experiences that brought together station search, live departures, arrivals, calling points and disruption updates. We integrated rail data sources and added clear feedback for unavailable connections or updates.
We built a complete suite for web, iOS and Android, combining loan calculators, repayment charts and loan tracking.

The challenge
Users needed to understand borrowing costs, compare repayment options and keep track of their loans across desktop and mobile.
What we built
We developed a web calculator and companion iOS and Android apps with monthly repayment schedules, key statistics and charts showing principal, interest and the remaining balance. Users could calculate by term or target monthly payment, explore overpayments and share calculations between the website and apps. The mobile apps also supported saved loans and mortgages, repayment progress, multiple currencies and a dashboard for tracked borrowing.
We built a shared workspace for transaction records, supporting documents and accountant conversations.

The challenge
Records arrived across spreadsheets, folders and emails, leaving accountants to chase missing evidence.
What we built
We developed a shared workspace where business owners could import transactions, attach receipts and answer document requests. We added review and export workflows for accountants preparing year-end records, with separate access for each client and team member.

The challenge
The business needed a content-managed website to publish articles, news and resources alongside information about its services.
Our founder’s contribution
Our founder delivered the full Umbraco website implementation while employed by Logic Software. The website included a blog, news and resource pages to support the company’s activities and communications. The work covered both the website and its content management system.
Card activation and self-service features gave customers more control, backed by shared web and mobile APIs.

The challenge
Customer-facing card systems were tightly coupled to a credit-product monolith. The platform needed to support multiple products while continuing to serve existing web and mobile applications.
Our founder’s contribution
Our founder re-architected the card systems and developed activation and self-service features within the platform’s engineering team. Backend-for-frontend APIs supported web and mobile while remaining compatible with existing applications. Moving customer-facing services to Kubernetes enabled independent deployment and scaling as the platform expanded beyond a single credit product.
